Yes, DexNova Learning’s Project Management Professional training satisfies the 35 contact hours required to sit for the PMP® exam. At the end of the program, you will receive your certificate of completion.

Yes, you may re-schedule your course if you cannot make the initial schedule. Kindly refer to our re-schedule policy.

Our PMP Course fee does not include the professional exam fee.

Our interactive PMP® virtual live sessions will be delivered via Zoom. You will also have access to our learning management system for resources and support during and after the training.  Login details for the session will be sent to you via email before the class

Yes, each of the PMP® virtual live sessions will be recorded and the view/download link shared to delegates via email. This will be very useful for candidates who were unable to attend the virtual live sessions due to certain reasons. It is good to not that the recorded training will only be available for download for a few days.

PMP exam and certification

The PMP® Exam Fee is $544 ($139 to join PMI and $405 for the exam fees). You may also pay for the exam without becoming a member of PMI, at a cost of $555. We recommend you become a member of PMI member before applying to take the exam so you enjoy membership benefits and discounted exam fee.

Every delegate is different and one single approach will not work for everyone. We advise you invest some time to study resources provided during training and follow our readiness indicator to know when you are set to go in for your exam.

PMI requires that you document your 35 contact hours training as part of the application process so you will need to complete the training prior to exam application.

Testing Center

Currently, the PMP exam is administered via Pearson VUE testing centers worldwide. You should check Pearson VUE website www.pearsonvue.com to locate a center closest to you and confirm their hours of operation and exam availability.

Online Exam

You can also take your PMP exam online with Pearson VUE. The online exam is offered 24/7 so you should be able to find a day and time that works best with your schedule.

Both center-based and online proctored PMP exam comes with a built-in 10-minute break. This is not a mandatory break but allow you to stretch during your exam. The exam is divided into two parts and your break will start once you review and submit the first part of the exam. Step 1: 

Download and thoroughly read through 2 important documents;  the PMP® credential handbook and the PMP Exam Content Outline

These documents explain everything you need to know about how to apply for the PMP exam and the expectations.

Step 2: 

Check your eligibility in sitting for the PMP exam.

In the PMP Handbook, you will find the eligibility criteria for the exam. Verify your eligibility before proceeding to the exam application.

For bachelor’s degree holders or Its equivalent

  • 36 months experience in leading projects
  • 35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM® Certification

For High Diploma or an associate degree (global equivalent)

  • 60 months experience in leading projects
  • 35 hours of project management education/training or CAPM® Certification

Step 3:

Look for a reputable PMP training provider to enroll for 35 contact hours training.

This process is open for 90 days once you start and after completion, PMI will usually get you a reply within 7 working days.

Practice PMP Exam Questions. Having several simulation tests before your exam day cannot be over emphasized. You need to practice, practice, practice to get familiar with question structure and types and manage your timing for the actual exam.

Step 7:

Take the PMP exam. At this point you would have developed confidence from your experience, and knowledge and are ready to ace the PMP Exam.
